Celebrating your birthday in Berlin - in an escaperoom and in your private event room
A birthday is just one of those days that people remember for years to come. We believe that an hour of intense, cooperative riddle-solving ending in triumph makes for a much better story than just a table at a restaurant.
That is why we are the number one address for birthdays in Berlin-Mitte, regardless of age.
With us, you play your mission, receive your winners’ pictures at the end, and afterwards you can keep partying in our birthday room.
Located directly at Friedrichstraße station, accessible, and central to Berlin-Mitte, we are easily reachable - even for grandparents, grandchildren, or old friends, who come from out of town.
Which room matches which birthday?
Kids’ birthday (5-9 years): Monster Party
Monster Party is our only room that was specifically built for children. Up to 10 kids between the ages of 5 to 9 can experience this colorful, friendly world full of silly monsters.
The game concept is adjusted for kids: Riddles are being solved with hands, eyes, and voices - no reading necessary, no pressure.
Parents or guardians can watch the game from the outside, or join in.
You can add our birthday room to your booking, where you can keep partying after your game, and bring your own cake, or enjoy our popcorn and soft drinks.
Teenagers’ birthday (10-14 years): Magic Alley or Prison Island
From 10 years on, the missions get more exciting.
Magic Alley takes place in a magical world, ideal for fans of fantasy or Harry Potter (4-8 players, 10+ yrs with accompanying adult)
Prison Island in Battle Mode is ideal for bigger teenage birthdays for up to 14 players: two teams are playing at the same time - who will escape the high-security prison first?
From 12 years upwards, kids can play without being accompanied by an adult into the game, but must be brought and picked up by an adult.
Grown-Up birthday (18, 30, 40, 50, 60 ...): all rooms
For your grown-up birthday, you can choose from all our missions: Magic Alley, Prison Island, Berlin Babylon, Madhouse 101, Admiral Kingdom, Jungle Games.
Berlin Babylon can be especially interesting for players over 40, as it uses Berlin’s colorful history as a backdrop for an exciting detective mission.
For after your game, you can book our Get Together Area as a private location, where we can provide drinks, catering, cocktails or a DJ - whatever your heart desires.
Our birthday room: your private event location after your game
Apart from our mission rooms, we also have our birthday room. It is private, cozy, and is open to you exclusively after your mission. Here, you can unwrap presents, cut your cake, hold speeches, or just hang out.

How many people can play in a group?

Depending on the mission, 2 to 10 people can play in a team in our escape rooms. If your group is larger, simply split up and play two different missions at the same time or book Prison Island in battle mode. We recommend a group size of 4 to 6 people. VR missions can be played by groups of 2 to 4 people.
Is there an age restriction?
Yes, for a perfect gaming experience, restrictions vary depending on the game.
1) Our kids-only mission “Monster Party” is playable for children between the ages of 5 and 9 under adult supervision.
2) All other analog missions (“Prison Island,” “Magic Alley,” “Berlin Babylon,” and “Admiral Kingdom”) are designed for adults, but can be played by children aged 10 and above when accompanied by an adult. Please note, however, that some puzzles may be too challenging for children and that the themed rooms may also contain darker sections. Children/teenagers aged 12 and above can try the games on their own. However, it is advisable for an adult to be on hand in the lobby to assist in the game if necessary.
3) Children should be at least 12 years old to play the VR missions, as we require a certain level of technical understanding. Accompanied by an adult, HUXLEY titles can also be played by children aged 10 and above. A ticket must be booked for the adult, and two tickets for adults in the case of a battle game. Children aged 12 and over can try most missions on their own. However, we also recommend that a supervising adult plays along.
4) The mission Madhouse is only permitted for children aged 16 and over.

What if we get stuck in the game?
Our game masters watch via microphones and cameras and know exactly what you have to do next and whether you're on track. If necessary, they will give you hints. However, we cannot guarantee that you will be successful. On average, around 75% complete their mission within the given time. Don't worry: the game is fun even if you don't quite make it!
How safe are the games?

EXIT® is fully licensed to operate, with a comprehensive fire safety and emergency evacuation plan in place.
In addition, every group has the option to leave the rooms independently using emergency buttons and emergency exit doors at any time. Our trained game masters also watch over you the whole time - they sit right next door and can be with you almost immediately in case of an emergency.
Are we playing with others?
No. Once you've booked a room, it belongs exclusively to you, and you can focus on yourself and your mission.
Can we spontaneously bring another person along?
As long as the maximum number of players for the mission is not exceeded, that's not a problem. You can pay the remaining amount by card on site. If you bring one more person to a VR game, please let us know in advance so that we can prepare another set. You can do this via enter@exit-game.de or +49 (0) 30 - 20 84 99 07 0.
Are there drinks and snacks available on site?

Do I need to be athletic?
No, you don't need to be a top athlete or exert a great deal of strength. Some missions only require a short crawl. Please call +49(0)30 20 84 99 070 for advice if you are pregnant or have any physical limitations. If you are unsure, we recommend that you have your fitness to play checked by a doctor. Participation in our games is always at your own risk.

Which missions are easier or trickier?
The difficulty is always perceived slightly differently by every player. We recommend Prison Island and Madhouse 101 if you're new to escape games. When it comes to VR missions, Huxley I, Huxley II and Escape the Lost Pyramid are beginner-friendly. Prince of Persia is suitable for advanced players. Overall, any room can be played by anyone - choosing the mission you find most exciting is best!

No. Once you've booked a room, it belongs exclusively to you, and you can focus on yourself and your mission.
Can I use my cell phone while playing?
No, cell phones are not allowed in our escape rooms, neither for photography nor as a source of light or for research. You must lock them into one of our lockers before the game starts. But we'll take a group photo after the game, which you can take home with you.
How can I pay?
When booking, you can easily pay with PayPal, credit card, giropay or Klarna. For a larger team event, payment via invoice is also possible by prior arrangement. You can pay for drinks and snacks on site by card - we can unfortunately not accept any cash payments.
Do we have to be on time?
Yes, please report to our reception desk on time for the start of your game. If you are late, please call us:

If you are late, we may have to reduce your game time to ensure the next group can start on schedule. If your late arrival means you are unable to play, or unable to finish the mission, no refund may be issued.
